Meet meHello, I'm Savannah, a lovely tabby and white cat with a gentle, timid nature. I'm not one to rush into things, and I need a special home where I can take my time to feel safe and comfortable. I may start off shy and cautious, but with plenty of patience, space, and love, I'll gradually begin to trust and open up at my own pace.
Once I've settled in and come out of my shell, I'll likely remain a bit of a timid, independent spirit. I'm not the type to demand attention all the time, but when I do choose to share some love, you'll feel truly special. I'll need a family that understands my need for space and quiet, and who respects my boundaries. Food and gentle care will help me grow confident, but I'll always be a little more reserved in nature.
If you're the kind of person who can offer me a calm, understanding home and let me flourish at my own speed, I'll reward you with the quiet companionship of a loving, independent cat. Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
