Hi there, I'm Kahlua, a gorgeous tabby cat with a little bit of a shy side at first. I might take some time to warm up, but once I feel safe and settled, I'm sweet, affectionate, and ready to be your friend.
I really enjoy playing, especially when there are people to join in! Whether it's chasing a toy or just having fun with a little playtime, I'm all in. That being said, I also value my personal space sometimes. I like to have a cozy spot to relax and recharge when I need it.
If you're patient with me and let me adjust at my own pace, I promise I'll show you just how loving and approachable I can be. I'm looking for a calm, understanding home where I can thrive. Could that be with you?

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
