Jimmy is a classic cattle dog-smart, active, and always ready for fun! He thrives on daily walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime, especially a good game of fetch (his absolute favorite!). With the right balance of exercise and mental stimulation, he'll be the happiest boy around.
While he may take a little time to get to know you, once he does, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal. He loves his people and will happily soak up all the love and attention you have to give.
Jimmy would do best in a home with a decent yard where he can stretch his legs and a family who will include him in their daily activities. If you're looking for a devoted, energetic companion who's ready for adventure and cuddles, Jimmy is the perfect match!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
