Okay, yes... I do always look a little grumpy - I've been told I have "resting unimpressed face." But don't let that fool you! Underneath my serious expression is a sweet, gentle soul who's just learning how lovely people can be.
I'm still building up my confidence when it comes to pats and cuddles, but I've started to approach my foster carer on my own - pretty brave, huh? I'm discovering that being petted is actually kind of nice (especially behind the ears).
Now, let's talk about nighttime Nova. Once the sun goes down, I come alive! I'm playful, curious, and full of beans - chasing toys, exploring, and showing off my fun side. I may take a little while to warm up, but if you're patient and kind, I promise I'll show you just how special I am.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
