Think of him as a house cat in a dog's body - low-maintenance, easygoing, and perfectly content just hanging out wherever you are.
With his gentle nature and soft, loving eyes, Sarge has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world. He isn't overly demanding - he just wants a calm home, a soft bed, and someone to adore. A stroll around the block or some backyard pottering is plenty for him; what really matters to Sarge is quality time with his humans.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
