Ahoy, matey! Meet Patchy the Pirate!
Patchy might have the name of a daring adventurer, but he's really a big softie at heart! This handsome boy is full of love, playfulness, and personality. He adores playtime-wand toys, puzzle games, and chasing crinkly balls are his absolute favorites! Patchy is looking for a calm, understanding crew to join, ideally with gentle teens or adults who appreciate a cat with a bit of character.
While he's not generally recommended to live with other cats, Patchy can happily share his ship with a feline friend who is also FIV-positive or vaccinated against FIV. He's also on a special diet for a little while-this cheeky pirate loves his snacks a bit too much!-and uses a slow feeder to make mealtimes both fun and healthy.
With his big heart, goofy charm, and love of play, Patchy is ready to sail into a forever home where he can be loved, spoiled, and admired for the wonderful boy he is. Once he's by your side, you'll quickly discover the real treasure isn't gold-it's Patchy the Pirate himself.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
