Sandra is a very sweet and gentle girl who has come a long way since arriving timid and unsure. Now, she's discovered just how much she loves affection and is happiest when snuggled up close to her people.
She's a real cuddlebug and can be a little clingy, so she's looking for a home where she'll have plenty of company and won't be left alone for long stretches. Sandra would likely prefer to be the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
