Hi, I'm Mascara. Also known as the 'Loaf Queen' - a quiet girl with a curious heart. I may come off as reserved at first, but give me a little time (and maybe some Churu), and I'll start to show you my softer side.

Once I feel safe in my environment, I really come into my own. I love exploring my space and often spend my time rolling around on the floor, just enjoying being in my little world. High, cozy nooks are my favorite spots to tuck myself away, but nothing beats **window watching**. Perching on a windowsill and watching the world go by is pure bliss for me.

I'm pretty independent-I like doing my own thing during the day-but when the world gets quiet at night, that's when I truly come alive. Whether it's sneaky little explorations or just finding the perfect cozy corner, I love the peace and quiet of nighttime adventures.

I'm FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop me from living a full, happy life. I've shared space with another FIV+ cat both in shelter and in foster care, and I've peacefully coexisted with them. I'll engage with a calm feline companion when the moment feels right, and I'd be very happy to share a home with the right cat.

What I'm really looking for is a peaceful, gentle home where I can be myself and build trust at my own pace. I'm not one for chaos, but if you're patient and calm, I promise I'll show you just how special I am. I'm a beauty whose love and trust is truly worth its weight in gold.
