Movember is a 2-year-old female cat who has done an incredible job raising six kittens and is now hoping for a chance to finally relax and be cared for herself. Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for her, and she can appear timid and stressed at first, preferring quiet spaces where she feels safe.
With time, patience, and a calm environment, Movember has the potential to blossom. She responds well to food and treats, which are a wonderful way to build trust and help her feel secure. Once settled, she shows signs of being a gentle, low-key companion who will appreciate a predictable routine and respectful handling.
Movember would be best suited to a quiet home, ideally with experienced or understanding adopters who can give her the space she needs to adjust at her own pace. She's not demanding - just quietly hoping for a peaceful place where she can finally exhale.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
