Don't let the spicy name fool you-Jalapeño Jones is actually the gentle soul of the pair. While his brother Cutiepaws is off investigating every corner of the house, Jalapeño is usually close behind, taking comfort in following his best friend.
He's the quieter, more thoughtful half of this bonded duo and would much rather enjoy gentle company and soft pats than be the centre of attention. That said, when Cutie invites him to play, he's always happy to join the fun!
Since experiencing a foster home, these boys have discovered that home life is exactly where they want to be. They're so much more social and confident than they ever were in the shelter, and being in a home has allowed their true personalities to shine. Jalapeño has really blossomed, showing just how affectionate and sweet he can be once he feels safe.
Jalapeño is looking for a calm, patient family who understand that trust takes time. He'll need people who are happy to move slowly with handling and let him build confidence at his own pace.
Together, Jalapeño and Cutiepaws are the perfect mix of playful curiosity and gentle companionship. They're hoping to find a forever home where they can stay together forever-could that be with you?

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
