Love is a gentle, sweet girl who has been in care for quite some time, and during that time she has come such a long way.
Now, Love enjoys soft pats and is beginning to truly relax in the company of those she trusts. She especially adores head scratches and bum scratches, and once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side really shines through. That said, Love still appreciates a calm and gentle approach-she's not the type to rush into new situations. A few treats, a quiet voice, and giving her space to come to you on her own terms will win her over every time.
Underneath her cautious beginnings is a playful, cheeky, and outgoing little personality just waiting to fully blossom. With the right home, Love will continue to grow into a confident and loving companion. Our team can even share videos of the beautiful progress she's already made, so you can see just how special she is.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
