Jackie is a very affectionate boy who LOVES to sit on laps and chests and have cuddles the minute he meets you, his favourite scratch spot is either side of his neck. Tolerant of kittens, but would be happy to live solo.
He is a reformed free range cat, and would appreciate some supervised outside time. Prefers to toilet outside in a garden, but also uses a litter box overnight.
Tolerant of children, but would suit a home with older kids. Very much a gentleman. Loves a cat toy loaded with cat nip!
Also, has no teeth

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
