Meet Hucklerobby - a gentle, sensitive boy who is slowly discovering that people can be pretty wonderful.
While he can still be shy at first, Hucklerobby has made beautiful progress in foster care and his confidence continues to grow every day. He's now actively approaching his foster carer for pats and attention, showing just how much he wants to connect once he feels safe. He can still be a little unsure at times and may occasionally shy away from touch, but with patience and kindness, his sweet personality shines through.
This lovely boy has even started laying beside his foster carer - a huge milestone for him - though he's still learning to feel fully comfortable with close affection. As his world continues to expand and he gains access to more of the house to explore, Hucklerobby is blossoming into a more curious and confident companion.
Hucklerobby is looking for a calm, understanding home willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Watching this shy boy learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and whoever adopts him will have the privilege of seeing his confidence continue to bloom.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
