Apply to adoptBoss is a big, beautiful Staffy with an enormous heart. He is incredibly loving and affectionate with the people he trusts and forms wonderfully strong bonds with his chosen humans.
Boss can be unsure when meeting new people and prefers to keep his circle small. He can also be quite boisterous, so he's looking for an experienced Staffy owner who understands the breed and is confident providing the patience, structure, and guidance he needs.
Boss will need a family who is committed to getting to know him properly, including multiple visits to spend time with him before taking him home. Building that relationship and earning his trust will be an important part of setting him up for a successful transition.
Once Boss decides you're one of his people, his loyalty and affection are something very special. Give him the time and patience he needs, and you'll have a devoted companion who gives his whole heart to those he loves.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
