At first, Boss can be a little unsure around strangers and may need some time to get to know new people. He isn't the type to immediately throw himself into your lap, but if you're willing to give him a chance and let him move at his own pace, you'll be rewarded with one of the most loyal and affectionate companions you could ask for.
Once Boss trusts you, his loving personality truly shines. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves being close to those he cares about. Whether it's enjoying some gentle pats, spending time together, or simply being by your side, Boss is happiest when he's with his favourite humans.
One of Boss's most adorable quirks is his love of teddies. He absolutely adores soft toys and is often seen proudly carrying one around in his mouth wherever he goes. It's impossible not to smile when you see him trotting around with his treasured teddy, showing off his softer side.
Boss is looking for a patient and understanding home that will allow him the time he needs to settle in and build confidence. In return, you'll gain a devoted best friend who will love you wholeheartedly and be by your side through thick and thin.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
