Meet meHiyo is a gentle, shy boy who just needs a little time to feel safe in his new home. Once he warms up, his sweet personality really shines-he loves pats, happily offers adorable bum lifts, and will often roll over to soak up the attention.
He's also a big foodie, which makes winning him over pretty easy-he'll do just about anything for a tasty treat! Hiyo enjoys calm, gentle play sessions, especially with wand toys, making him a lovely companion for a quieter household.
With a bit of patience and kindness, Hiyo will blossom into a loving and affectionate friend.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
