Lil Jimmy is still learning that people can be trusted, and with time, gentle encouragement, and plenty of patience, his true personality begins to shine.
Right now, Lil Jimmy prefers to spend much of his time hiding away, but every day he takes small steps forward. He can accept gentle pats when he's feeling comfortable, and he is highly motivated by treats and playtime. Wand toys and tasty snacks are a great way to win him over!
One thing that really helps Lil Jimmy is the company of other cats. He looks to confident feline friends for guidance and reassurance, so he would thrive in a home with another friendly, social cat who can show him the ropes and help him feel secure.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
