Meet meNemy is a sweet and thoughtful boy who can be a little timid when meeting new people or in unfamiliar environments, but once he feels safe, his personality really begins to shine. With patience and gentle encouragement, he warms up beautifully and forms strong bonds with his people.
Nemy is an intelligent dog who loves to learn and engage with those around him. He enjoys training, enrichment activities, and anything that allows him to use his brain. Food is definitely the way to his heart, and he especially loves activities that involve sniffing and using his nose, making him a great candidate for scent work, puzzle toys, and ongoing enrichment.
Nemy is looking for a single-dog home where he can relax, build confidence, and soak up all the attention for himself. In the right home, with understanding owners willing to continue helping him grow, Nemy will make a deeply rewarding and loyal companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
