Poe is a sweet, gentle girl who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), she soon begins to show her affectionate side.
Once she feels safe and comfortable, Poe enjoys gentle attention and will happily spend time with the people she trusts. She simply needs someone who understands that good things take time and is willing to let her settle in at her own pace.
Poe is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can build her confidence and continue to blossom. With a patient family who will give her the time and space she needs, we're sure she'll become a loving and loyal companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
