Akita Inu

Meet me

A little bit about me

  • 1 year old
  • Female
  • Animal ID: 277289
  • Desexed
  • Extra Large size
  • Adoption Fee: $250

Amara is a beautiful 16-month-old Akita cross with a big personality to match her size! This strong, bouncy young girl is full of enthusiasm and is ready to find an active family who will enjoy helping her reach her full potential.

Still very much an adolescent, Amara is eager to learn and would thrive with ongoing training. She would make an excellent candidate for obedience school, where she can build her manners, confidence, and strengthen the bond with her new family. She's a clever girl who will benefit from consistent guidance and positive reinforcement.

Because of her size and exuberant nature, Amara would be best suited to a home with teenagers rather than young children, as she may accidentally knock over little ones during play.

Amara is not suitable for a home with cats, so she is looking for a feline-free household.

If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion and are committed to continuing her training, Amara could be the perfect addition to your family. With the right home, patience, and plenty of love, this wonderful girl is sure to blossom into an incredible lifelong companion.
