Alaric

Meet Alaric, a sweet and curious 9-month-old boy who is making wonderful progress and showing us more of his personality every day.

Alaric has been doing so well! His pen is now open, and he absolutely loves coming out to explore the house. He is super curious and loves investigating everything around him.

He's also very curious about the resident dog. He's still unsure about him, but apparently not that unsure... because he's curious enough to follow him around!

His playpen remains his safe place, giving him somewhere familiar to retreat to when he needs a break. He is completely litter trained and has had no accidents.

Alaric can still be a little cautious. If you move too quickly around him, he may give you a little hiss - simply his way of saying, "Whoa, slow down!" There's no aggression behind it.

He loves to play and is gradually learning that human touch can be a good thing. He may be unsure at first, but once he has inspected your hand and decided you're okay, he is happy to accept gentle pats.

And when he's in the mood... he even enjoys a gentle belly rub!

Alaric would love a patient, understanding home where he can continue building his confidence and trust at his own pace.

He has come such a long way already, and we know there is a loving, affectionate boy waiting to fully come out of his shell.
