Houdini is a sweet senior Husky looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by care, comfort, and companionship.
This handsome boy has plenty of love to give and a gentle nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Like many Huskies, Houdini has a voice of his own - he can be quite vocal when he spots other dogs, so his new family should be prepared for a Husky who likes to share his thoughts!
Houdini previously had a Husky sister, and he may enjoy having another canine companion in his new home. As with any dog friendship, introductions would need to be done thoughtfully to make sure it's the right match.

The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
