Daisy

Daisy is a very special girl who has been through a lot in her young life. She arrived at the shelter as a stray, heavily pregnant, and went on to give birth to nine beautiful puppies. She was an incredible mum who lovingly raised her babies, and now that her puppies have moved on to their own adventures, it's finally Daisy's turn to find her forever home.

Daisy can be understandably guarded when you first meet her. She is cautious and slow to trust, but once she decides you're one of her people, you'll have a little shadow for life! She loves being close to her people and will happily stick by your side like glue.

Once she feels safe, Daisy's sweet personality really shines through. She is an absolute cuddle bug, loves having fun with her stuffy toys, and enjoys showing off her playful zoomies.

Daisy will need a special home with people who are willing to truly advocate for her needs and give her the time she deserves. She may need her family to visit her a few times before she is ready to go home, allowing her to build trust and form a relationship at her own pace.

Daisy has shown herself to be fairly indifferent to other dogs, but she seems to really prefer the company of her people. She will likely be happiest in a home where she can focus on building a strong bond with her family and enjoy being part of their everyday life.

A quiet home where Daisy can keep her circle small and enjoy a predictable, peaceful life would be ideal. In return for your patience, understanding and advocacy, Daisy will reward you with an incredible amount of love, loyalty and plenty of cuddles.
