Like his name suggests, Velcro is happiest when he's stuck right beside his mum. This handsome black-and-white boy is a little timid at first, but having Velvet nearby gives him the confidence to take on the world one tiny step at a time.
When he feels safe, Velcro's curious side starts to appear. You'll often spot him peeking out to investigate before retreating for reassurance from Mum-it's equal parts adorable and heartwarming.
Velcro is looking for a patient family who understands that confidence takes time to build. With Velvet by his side and a loving home to call his own, this sweet little boy is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
