Meet meSabrina is a sweet, affectionate girl looking for a quiet home where she can be the only pet. Unfortunately, Sabrina does not get along with other cats and has a strong prey drive, meaning she will actively hunt and attack other cats if given the opportunity. For this reason, she must be the only animal in the home.
Sabrina is also quite sensitive and can be easily frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. She may take a little while to feel comfortable in a new environment, so her new family will need to be patient and allow her to settle in at her own pace. She would do best in a calm home without young children.
Once Sabrina feels safe and has built a bond with her people, she becomes an incredibly loving and affectionate girl. She may not be an instant lap cat, but with time, patience and plenty of love, her sweet personality really shines through.
Sabrina is looking for someone who will give her the quiet, secure home she needs and let her enjoy being the center of attention. In return, she has so much love to give and could become the most wonderful companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
