Hi, I'm Techna. I may share my name with a clever fairy, but when it comes to meeting new people, I like to take my time. I can be a little timid at first, preferring to watch the world from a safe spot until I know everything is okay. Once I start to feel comfortable, though, you'll discover the sweet, gentle kitten hiding behind my shy exterior.
I'm looking for a calm, quiet home with patient people who understand that confidence grows one little step at a time. With lots of love, gentle encouragement, and the space to settle in at my own pace, I'll slowly come out of my shell and show you the wonderful companion I can be.
A peaceful home without too much noise or activity would be perfect for me, giving me the chance to build trust and let my personality shine. The Adoption Process
Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
