Meet meEbony is a sweet and affectionate girl who can be a little timid when first meeting new people. Once she gets to know you and feels comfortable, her lovely personality really starts to shine through, and you'll see her become bouncy, playful and full of affection.
Ebony is looking for a quiet and understanding home where she can take things at her own pace and receive all the love and reassurance she deserves. She would thrive with someone who is willing to give her the time she needs to build confidence and settle into her new surroundings.
Ebony is selective with her dog friends, but if you have a well-rounded, social dog, she may decide they are worthy of some playful play bows!
One little thing to know about Ebony is that car rides aren't quite her favourite adventure, as she can experience motion sickness. Because of this, she would be best suited to a family who prefers spending time close to home rather than heading off on frequent road trips.
With patience, a calm environment and plenty of love, Ebony has the potential to become a wonderful and devoted companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
