Myaa is a sweet girl who knows how to appreciate the simple things in life - a comfy bed, a good sniffy walk, the occasional zoom around, and a collection of stuffed toys to call her own.
She has plenty of personality and isn't afraid to let you know what she thinks! Myaa can be a little stubborn at times and likes to do things on her own terms, but that's all part of her charm.
When meeting new people, Myaa can be a little wary and standoffish at first. She'll need some time and patience to feel comfortable, but once she decides you're one of her people, you'll see her softer side come out. She becomes incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves a good bum scratch!
Myaa is looking for a family who can help her get back to a healthier weight through gentle exercise, regular walks and a balanced diet. She'd love to be the only dog in the home, where she can enjoy having all the attention to herself. Due to her personality and need for a calm environment, Myaa is best suited to a home without young children.
Myaa is looking for someone who will give her the time and space to build trust, while appreciating her quirky personality and all the love she has to give. In return, she'll be a loyal and affectionate companion who is happiest enjoying life's little pleasures by your side.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
