Meet meSprinkles is a sweet and gentle girl who can be a little shy when meeting new people. She loves nothing more than tucking up under her blanket, where she feels secure and comfortable. We can't wait to see her find a home where she can relax, feel safe and truly come out of her shell.
Sprinkles may need a little patience while she settles in, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she'll start to show you her lovely personality. She's a big fan of treats and gentle pats, and once she knows she can trust you, she'll simply melt into pats and chin scratches. She'll happily reward you with some seriously loud purrs and plenty of enthusiastic biscuit making!
She would suit a calm, loving household with someone who understands that earning a shy cat's trust takes time. Giving her a quiet space of her own and allowing her to settle at her own pace will help her feel safe and build confidence.
Sprinkles needs someone willing to give her the time, patience and love she deserves - and a cosy blanket to curl up in while she discovers that she is finally home.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
