Lox is a quiet and shy girl looking for a patient and understanding forever home.
She may take some time to settle in and feel comfortable in a new environment. Lox is still learning that humans aren't so scary, and she will need an adopter who is willing to give her the time, space and patience she needs to build her confidence.
With a calm home, gentle encouragement and plenty of patience, Lox has the opportunity to come out of her shell and show her true personality.
She may not be the kind of cat who settles in straight away, but for the right person, watching her confidence grow and seeing her learn to trust will be incredibly rewarding.
Lox is looking for someone who will let her take things at her own pace and give her the chance to discover that she is safe, loved and finally home.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
