Charlie

Charlie is a special boy looking for his perfect match! This sweet and gentle soul is hoping to find a patient, understanding owner who will take the time to get to know him, advocate for his needs, and help him feel safe and confident in the world.

Charlie isn't a fan of being overhandled, but he's been making wonderful progress learning that he has a choice and that it's okay to move away when he's had enough. He'll need a family who respects his boundaries, understands his body language, and allows him to build trust at his own pace. As he can be a little nervous around new people and in unfamiliar environments, a quieter, adult-only household will be the perfect place for him to settle in and shine.

Don't let his sensitive side fool you, though! Charlie is still a young boy with plenty of energy, so he will still need an active carer who can take him on walks, enjoy playtime, and keep his clever mind busy. Ongoing positive reinforcement training will also help him build confidence, learn new skills, and feel comfortable making good choices.

And when the day's adventures are done? Charlie will be more than happy to curl up beside his favourite person and demand plenty of pats!

Charlie has so much love to give to someone who understands him. He's simply waiting for that special person who will see beyond his worries, respect his needs, and give him the time and patience he deserves. Could you be Charlie's perfect match?
