Meet meNile is a handsome boy with striking, piercing grey eyes that are sure to catch your attention! He's a fun-loving, affectionate lad who has plenty of love to give. He can be a little excitable and bouncy at times, but that's all part of his enthusiastic personality. And when he gets excited, you'll be treated to the classic Staffy bum wiggles!
Nile may take a little time to warm up to new people, so he'll need a family who understands the importance of slow, positive introductions to strangers and will help him build his confidence at his own pace. With patience and reassurance, he can continue learning that new people and experiences can be positive.
He'll benefit from plenty of daily exercise, enrichment and ongoing training to keep his body active and his clever mind busy, as well as support to help him channel his excitement in the right direction.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
