Tinkerbell is a sweet, shy girl who is slowly discovering that the world isn't such a scary place after all!
This lovely lady has been working hard on building her confidence and is making some wonderful progress. While she can be a little unsure when meeting new people, she has a curious side and is beginning to learn that human companionship can bring some pretty wonderful things, especially tasty treats!
Tinkerbell is a big fan of delicious snacks, and food has been a fantastic way to help her build trust. She's also learning to enjoy gentle affection and has been making lovely progress with accepting pats and becoming more comfortable around hands.
She's looking for a quiet, understanding home with someone who is happy to take things slowly and let her blossom at her own pace. Her ideal person will be patient, gentle and willing to celebrate all the little milestones along the way.
Tinkerbell might not be the kind of kitty who runs straight into your arms on day one, but with kindness, consistency and plenty of yummy treats, she has so much potential to become a wonderful companion.
All this little fairy needs is a safe place to land and someone special to help her find her wings!

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
