Bear is looking for a family who can keep up with his zest for life and provide plenty of exercise, mental enrichment and ongoing training. He's still learning about the world and will benefit from a family who is committed to helping him develop his manners and become the best version of himself.
Bear can be quite boisterous when excited, so he'd be best suited to an adult-only home or one with dog-savvy teenagers who understand that sometimes all that enthusiasm can be a little overwhelming!
With consistency, patience and plenty of positive reinforcement, Bear has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
