Meet Smokey, a beautiful senior lady with a gentle soul and so much love left to give!
This lovely girl is looking for a peaceful forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by warmth, comfort and plenty of affection. Smokey is a sweet-natured girl who deserves nothing more than a cosy place to call her own and a family who will absolutely adore her.
Smokey is deaf, but that certainly doesn't stop her from enjoying life! She simply experiences the world a little differently. Her new family will need to be mindful of this, approaching her gently and making sure she can see them coming so she doesn't get startled. With a little understanding and patience, she'll fit beautifully into a loving home.
As a senior lady, Smokey isn't asking for much. A comfy bed, a quiet environment, some gentle affection and someone to love her unconditionally would make her one very happy girl.
There's something incredibly special about giving a senior animal a second chance, and Smokey is ready to show her new family just how rewarding that love can be.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
