Meet meRaven is a gentle and affectionate cat with a heart of gold, though it may take a little time for her to truly trust. This shy, soft-spoken beauty is just beginning to open up and has recently started accepting pats. When she's feeling comfortable, she'll reward you with the sweetest headbutts and gentle purring as she asks for more love. Raven also loves to make biscuits, kneading away in pure contentment as she settles in with you.
Her curiosity shines through, and while she may initially be reserved, she's eager to explore and form bonds once she feels safe and secure. Raven is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can gradually come out of her shell at her own pace. She would do best in a calm environment without young children, where she can fully relax and let her personality blossom.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.

Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
