Meet meHi there, I'm Thimble!
I'm a sweet, quiet little guy with a big heart - even if I'm still learning to show it. I may be a bit timid when we first meet, but please don't take it personally! New people and places can be a little overwhelming for me, and I like to take my time getting comfortable. Once I feel safe, though, you'll start to see my gentle, affectionate side.
My favorite things in the world? Treats. Seriously. Shake that treat bag and suddenly I'm your best friend. Temptations, Churus, crunchy snacks - I don't discriminate. Treats are the way to my heart, and they help me build trust too!
I'm looking for a calm, patient home where I can come out of my shell at my own pace. I don't need a lot - just a cozy spot to curl up, a kind human to be near, and maybe a few tasty snacks along the way. If you're the gentle soul who can love a shy boy like me, I promise I'll be the sweetest little companion you could ask for.

Cats - If you wish to adopt a cat you are welcome to visit both our Wingfield and Edinburgh North locations between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
Dogs - If you wish to adopt a dog, you are welcome to visit our Wingfield location between 10am and 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Dog adoptions from Edinburgh North are by application only. Please fill out the application form on the dog's profile and wait for our staff to contact you.
Please note: if the animal you wish to adopt is listed as 'application only', please fill out the form on their profile and wait for our team to be in touch.
Once you have met an animal you would like to adopt, you can take them home the same day as all AWL animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked ready for their new home (yes, even the kittens and puppies!)
